Children’s Art Camp
and Old Faves!
Welcome to ArtWorth’s
This year ArtWorth runs from July 11th to July 22nd, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. We are inviting kids to stretch your imaginations and explore waves of all kinds – light waves, sound waves, radio waves, water waves! Come and enjoy your old favourite projects too! Explore your creativity through pottery, photography, building sea monsters, creating radio plays, painting, creative movement and more. There will be a games day in Mill Creek Park complete with a community checkers tournament, played on game boards built by you! And we are pleased to announce we will have another bake off partnership with the Abundance Food Project, judged by the seniors at Millcreek Manor.
Freedom Fighters Take The Win!!!
Wednesday, July 20th 2016
It was a hot and sweltering day. Artworth campers soldiered through, valiantly competing in the Games Day events leading up to the match of the day… The Chess Game! Played by Sergio Quesada (Freedom Fighters) and Alex Shakura (The White Knights), with Teresa Castonguay as MC, each chess piece (played by a camper) was sponsored by local organizations and businesses to raise money for Artworth Bursaries. We would like to send out a huge thank you to our sponsors: Freedom 55, Warkworth Community Service Club, Custom Fit Vitality, Our Lucky Stars, Terry Enterprises, Frantic Farms, Don Clarke Construction, Brian Finley, Care Gallery, Allen Insurance, Douglas Hotte – Royal LePage Terrequity Realty, Glovers Farm Market, Roaming Valley Farms, Meirion Jones – Royal LePage Terrequity Realty, D & E Campbell, Abundance Project, Camp Ho-Ba-Chee, and Spirit of the Hills! Also, a thank you goes out to Skye Morrison and Trish York for the dressing of the players!
All in all, the day was a roaring success with much FUN had by all!!!

ArtWorth is Trent Hills’ first art camp for kids aged 7 – 13 years. Professional artists continue to create a quality experience for your children. We provide a caring, fun, safe place for kids to learn and express themselves through the arts. Our home base is in Warkworth, Ontario.
Artworth wishes to thank the ongoing support of our sponsors: the Warkworth Community Service Club, and the Campbellford Seymour Community Foundation. We also wish to thank the ongoing support of St. Paul’s United Church, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and Spirit of the Hills Northumberland Hills Arts Association. This year we are proud to include Westben Arts Festival Theatre in our list of special thanks. And lastly, but definitely not least, thank you to all those who have supported our bursary program.
We also extend a big thank you to Diane Dudley, Michelle Adams, John Delacour, Christopher Thorpe, and Vanessa Oakley for many of the current photos on this website.
Artworth is the proud recipient of the Cultural Award of Merit from the Trent Hills 2013 Civic Awards! We couldn’t have done it without all the contributions of our artists, teen volunteers, adult volunteers and of course your fabulous artistic kids!
